By using the KarGo Driver App and completing deliveries for KarGo, you agree to the following:
1. Independent Contractor
You are an independent contractor, not a KarGo employee. You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, fuel, vehicle maintenance, and other business expenses.
2. Driver Requirements
To remain an active driver, you must:
Have a valid driver's license.
Maintain active commercial auto insurance.
Drive an approved vehicle that meets KarGo's requirements.
Keep your contact information up to date.
3. Annual Training
All drivers are required to complete KarGo's annual training and certification each year. This may include HIPAA, safety, app training, customer service, and any client-required training. Drivers who do not complete required training may be temporarily suspended until training is finished.
4. Safe and Professional Service
Drivers must:
Follow all traffic laws.
Deliver packages safely and on time.
Wear the required KarGo uniform and badge while working.
Treat customers, hospital staff, and coworkers with respect.
Follow all pickup and delivery instructions.
5. App Usage
Drivers must:
Keep the KarGo app installed and updated.
Enable location services while working.
Update delivery statuses correctly.
Take required photos, signatures, and delivery notes.
Keep a working phone available during deliveries.
6. Accepted Deliveries
Once you accept a delivery, you are expected to complete it. If an emergency prevents you from finishing, contact Dispatch immediately.
7. Attendance
Drivers should arrive on time and notify Dispatch as soon as possible if they will be late or absent. Attendance is managed under KarGo's Driver Point System.
8. Driver Point System
Drivers begin with 0 points.
Points are added for attendance and policy violations.
Points expire after 90 days.
More than 4 points may reduce commission.
6 points may result in termination of your contract.
9. Suspension or Termination
KarGo may suspend or end a driver's access for:
Unsafe driving
Failure to maintain insurance
Loss of a valid driver's license
Failure to complete required annual training
Repeated policy violations
Fraud, theft, or misconduct
Violations of customer confidentiality
